Fully Automated Sterilizable Pelletizing Unit

CES freezes Liquid Foods, Chemicals, Pharmaceutical and Bio Products in Pellet Form.

The liquids are dipped into the liquid nitrogen by means of an especially for each product designed liquid dispenser. The droplets congeal instantly into globules and become fixed pellets after a few seconds. The product (pellets) is conveyed out of the immersion with a mesh-belt conveyor.

The bio and pharmaceutical industry but occasionally also the food industry, require pelletizers which can be sterilized. CES has developed fully automated sterilizing units for its different pelletizer models.

Applications for CES Cryogenic Pelletizers:

Cryogenic pelletizing is already successfully applied for the freezing into pellets of liquid and semi-liquid foods such as pasteurized liquid eggs, milk-cream, ice-cream, concentrated fruit juices, chocolate and sauces. CES cryogenic pelletizers are also used in the bio-industry for the pelletizing of suspensions of bacteria such as starters for fermentation in the production of diary products. From pharmaceutical industry there is an increasing interest in using the cryogenic pelletizing process before lyophilization of their products.
