Cryogenic equipment and services
Happy New Year

Thanks to our loyal customers 2010 has been a great and busy year at CES Inc.

In the last couple months, CES Inc has manufactured and completed several projects ranging from small test equipment to massive spiral freezers.

We started 2010 by supplying 2 spiral freezers and 2 batch freezers to customers in Canada as well as a custom cryogenic treatment oven to a weapons manufacturer in Nevada. After that we kept it closer to home by supplying yet another spiral freezer to one of our existing customers in Ohio. We retrofitted an existing mechanical spiral freezer in Cincinnati with one of our electronic gearing control systems. This allowed the customer to reduce spiral wear and maintenance while providing more flexibility and control during production. This customer was so pleased with our advance gearing control system that he decided to upgrade his other spiral freezers in early 2011.

The CES lab size batch freezers were also very popular in 2010. Not only did we supply several units to different customers in Wisconsin and Michigan, but we also provided our customers with a great test solution. The CES lab batch freezers are small and easy to use so our customers can test products in our factory or at their own facility. These freezers can be easily shipped and are a great way to test new product dwell times or applications. Two pharmaceutical grade lab batch freezers are scheduled for delivery to Canada in 2011.

CES' Cryogenic pelletizers create perfect frozen droplets of product, CES Inc continued to weed out the competition this year as we replaced several competitors units that failed to consistently produce product. Customers in California and Wisconsin have all experienced the CES pelletizer difference and realized significant savings in nitrogen usage and lost production. With the new pelletizers being more focused on cleanability and increased production capacities our customers are bound to continue making great and profitable products in the New Year.

As the economy started its recovery in 2010, our customers looked for creative alternatives. CES Inc supplied several used and completely refurbished freezers this year and will continue to do so next year. Although there is nothing like a custom engineered solution to match your specific production process, sometimes a used alternative can be an economical compromise. As many of our customers have learned, there is quite a bit of difference between a CES factory refurbished machine and a "cheap" internet brokerage purchased machine. Sometime you really get what you pay for.

Some of our customers will not substitute anything for a custom CES engineered solution. We ended 2010 engineering our largest cryogenic spiral freezer ever and we will start 2011 manufacturing this behemoth. Our 3D design software allowed us to share, interact and visualize the model online and collaborate with the customers engineering department to make sure the design meets and exceeds expectations. Although the customer has seen his freezer in a "virtual reality", the actuality of the size will sink in when we start installing this next spring.

Best wishes and a prosperous New Year to all our friends and customers.
